Procurement Specialist Role
OSS Maritime Group is a multinational logistics and marine services provider with an impressive 30-year trading record.
Job Responsibilities
- Purchasing of ship spare parts, services, and other needs to ensure effective supply chain management
- Timely delivery of goods and adherence to schedules through efficient inventory control
- Negotiation with suppliers to secure the best possible deals
- Identifying new suppliers and developing relationships to expand our network
- Managing and processing claims with suppliers in a timely manner
- Authorizing suppliers' invoices for payment
- Maintaining accurate data in the company's purchasing system for informed decision-making
- Daily and weekly reporting on procurement activities for tracking progress
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in a purchasing role or equivalent environment
- Excellent written and spoken English skills for effective communication
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills for data analysis and presentation

Your Key Responsibilities
This Procurement Specialist role involves working closely with various teams to source high-quality materials and services while maintaining strong relationships with existing suppliers. You will be responsible for ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with our policies and procedures, and that our inventory levels are adequately managed.
