Job Title: Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced procurement specialist to drive purchasing initiatives and support internal departments.

This role reports to the Head of Procurement and is based in Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and process purchase orders within systems.
  • Conduct daily checks on incoming goods to ensure high quality standards.
  • Work closely with demand planning and production teams to align purchases with production plans and forecasts.
  • Manage stock replenishment, focusing on product shelf life.
  • Develop key supplier relationships for positive stock deals.
  • Liaise with all departments professionally and timely.
  • Support RFI's and RFP's to procure value-for-money solutions.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience working in a busy environment as a Purchasing Officer or Buyer, preferably in FMCG.
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • A strong background in inventory management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly accurate with a strong attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude.
