About The RoleThe ASD6 and EL1 Security Psychologist roles offer opportunities to develop clinical or forensic skills supporting core security functions. Responsibilities include formulating complex assessments using psychometrics, managing a therapeutic client load, delivering specialized training, and contributing to team management of complex cases and organizational initiatives.
The EL1 Security Psychologist is a senior clinician who can lead a portfolio area, develop governance, provide advice to leadership, and engage with stakeholders. There is also an opportunity to develop clinical supervision and leadership skills.
Our roles support professional interests with ongoing clinical supervision to meet registration requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A relevant degree in psychology (ACAP approved Clinical or Forensic Psychology program)
- Eligibility for, or current unconditional registration with AHPRA
- Membership of the Australian Psychological Society
Candidates must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
