Job Overview

At Sims Metal, we're committed to creating a world without waste. Our Wingfield yard is seeking a full-time Belt Picker/General Hand to join our team. As a responsible corporate citizen, we continuously seek new ways to broaden our participation in the environmental sector.

The Role: This position involves working along a conveyor belt, sorting recyclable materials, and maintaining a clean work environment. You will assist with general laboring duties and ad-hoc tasks to support our processing operations.

Requirements:

  • Be physically fit and enjoy hands-on work
  • Have a good eye for detail and understand basic safety practices
  • Work well independently and as part of a team
  • Pass a drug and alcohol test
