Environmental Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and responding effectively to field activities, ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental controls are in place.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in environmental positions supporting construction of general and/or high voltage work packages. You will also have expert knowledge of contemporary environmental practices and key issues as relevant to construction.

Your responsibilities will include exercising independent professional judgement, influencing and intervening on HSE controls and management by contractors. You will also oversee and coordinate environmental aspects of packages of work engaged by suppliers and contractors.

To succeed in this role, you will need sound analytical, auditing and investigation skills. You will also need previous experience with field environmental monitoring techniques and demonstrated experience in the management of environmental and information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and respond effectively to field activities and ensure Health, Safety and Environmental controls are in place.

About You:
