Job Title: Apigee Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to design, develop and implement API solutions using the Apigee Edge/X platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable and secure API solutions utilizing the Apigee Edge/X platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, security experts, developers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and create efficient API solutions.
  • Configure and customize Apigee Edge/X policies, proxies and API products to meet business needs.
  • Manage authentication and authorization solutions to ensure data integrity.
  • Optimize API performance, scalability and security through continuous monitoring and improvement.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive API documentation including specifications, diagrams and user guides.
  • Troubleshoot and debug API issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in API management and Apigee platform technology.
  • Hands-on experience with implementing OpenID, OAuth 2.0, JWT integrations and TLS/mTLS.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with designing, developing and deploying API solutions using Apigee Edge/X platform.
  • Strong understanding of API security, scalability and performance optimization.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with implementing OpenID, OAuth 2.0, JWT integrations and TLS/mTLS.

  • Employment type: Contract.
  • Duration: Permanent / 6 Months with possible extension.
