We are seeking a Senior Lecturer in Nursing to contribute to our School's research profile and facilitate education.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have expertise in contemporary nursing practice, a strong track record in teaching, and experience in facilitating both undergraduate and postgraduate education.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate courses or teach subjects providing a high-quality learning experience for students.
- Design innovative and effective curriculum reflecting best practice nationally.
- Evaluate learning and teaching initiatives using an evidence-based approach.
- Contribute to our Scholarship of Learning and Teaching through scholarly outputs and presentations.
- PhD degree or equivalent accreditation and standing recognised by the profession as appropriate for the relevant discipline areas.
- Hold current endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Current or recent participation in clinical practice as a nurse practitioner.
- Effective teaching, curriculum development, and subject coordination skills with a commitment to excellence.
- Ability to encourage intellectual development and career aspirations of students.
