Job Overview

This role is centered around supporting research initiatives in emergency care by working as a Nurse Researcher within the Emergency Research Unit.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, enabling them to prioritize tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality research services to support ERU operations.
  • Coordinate day-to-day project activities, including patient recruitment, data collection, governance, and report preparation.
  • Assist with submissions to Human Research Ethics Committees and regulatory documentation, while liaising with research subjects and sites.
  • Handle stakeholder queries and organize meetings, maintaining clear communication with colleagues and research collaborators.
  • Educate team members, patients, and families on specific research methods and protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with research methodology, policies, protocols, and occupational health and safety requirements.
  • Maintain accurate clinical trial data and contribute to continuous improvement activities.

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer literacy and ability to learn new software.
  • Foundational knowledge of research methods.
