Job Title: Clinical Trials Nurse

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding position for an experienced nurse who wants to contribute to advancing mental health research. The Clinical Trials Nurse will be working in a dynamic environment, collaborating with healthcare teams, consumers/carers, other health professionals, general practitioners, and agencies to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing clinical trials participant contact, conducting research assessments, entering and managing research data, handling biological samples, and performing essential research administrative duties.
  • Supporting and facilitating mental health clinical trials activities for investigators; collaborating with health services where recruitment occurs.
  • Engaging with stakeholders including health care teams, consumers/carers, other health professionals, general practitioners, and agencies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of clinical trials and nursing experience across a range of clinical disciplines is preferred.
  • Operational and strategic experience in research ethics, governance, and clinical trials processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish and manage productive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Flexible, agile mindset; ability to manage multiple complex responsibilities, show initiative, problem solve, and work autonomously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly.
