Advanced Mental Health Nursing Professional

As a Senior Advanced Practitioner in Mental Health Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality patient care within our dynamic Mental Health Acute Inpatient Service (MHAIS).
About the RoleOur team seeks a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to provide expert clinical guidance and support across the unit. You will work collaboratively with our Nurse Manager and Clinical Nurse Consultant to achieve strategic objectives that prioritize patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Offer advanced clinical expertise and mentorship to colleagues within MHAIS
- Promote evidence-based practice and recovery-focused pathways across the unit
- Support the achievement of operational objectives through effective collaboration and communication
To excel in this position, you must possess:
- Proven skills in acute mental health nursing, including assessment, planning, and intervention
- A strong understanding of contemporary therapeutic approaches for individuals with mental health conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders
Requirements include current registration as a Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and vaccination against vaccine-preventable diseases.
