Job Title: Clinical Trials Professional
This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to mental health clinical trials and intervention studies. Working within the Clinical Trials Unit at Queensland Centre for Mental Health Research, you will utilize advanced mental health experience to assist with research activities.
Key Responsibilities- Contacting participants, conducting research assessments, entering and managing research data, handling biological samples, and performing general research administrative duties.
- Supporting and facilitating mental health clinical trials activities for researchers, working collaboratively with healthcare teams and services where recruitment occurs.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of clinical trials and nursing experience across various clinical disciplines.
- Operational and strategic experience in research ethics, governance, and clinical trials processes, including knowledge of NHMRC National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research, Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research, ICH GCP guidelines, and Queensland Health Research Ethics and Governance Directive and Research Management Policy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish and manage productive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Flexible and agile mindset, able to manage multiple complex responsibilities, show initiative, problem solve, and work autonomously.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to present complex information clearly.
Appointment requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Certified copies must be provided prior to commencement of clinical duties. Recent mental health nursing experience is essential.
