We are seeking an experienced Building Technology Engineer to help grow our ICT offering in Sydney. As a valued member of our team, you will establish strong client relationships, deliver high-quality service, and drive innovation in everyday places.

The Opportunity

  • Develop and deliver complex technology projects across various markets, creating innovative solutions and successful outcomes for clients, our people, and Arup.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology-related disciplines in the built environment, including IT Cabling Systems, Active IT Systems, Audio Visual Systems, Electronic Security Systems, IoT, and Smart Building initiatives.
  • Participate in QA checks of drawings and documentation produced by the team, ensuring design deliverables meet the highest standards.
  • Be accountable for significant and complex activities or projects, requiring you to predict and plan future resources effectively.

Is this role a good fit for you?

  • Have at least 6 years of experience as an Electrical or Mechatronic Engineer with a specialization in low voltage systems or similar fields.
  • Bring experience in building networking technologies, such as structured cabling, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Wireless, etc.
  • Demonstrate experience working with multidisciplinary project teams and contributing to collaborative success.
  • Experience in Data Centre Design work is highly desirable.
  • Possess an ICT Engineering degree related to the role or equivalent experience in related industry sectors.
  • Hold a WiredScore qualification, which is an added advantage.
