Coffee Roaster Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Coffee Roaster to execute optimal flavour and quality in our coffee production.
- Operate and manage coffee roasting equipment for superior results.
- Develop and implement custom roasting profiles based on coffee bean characteristics.
- Conduct regular cupping sessions to evaluate the coffee quality and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation of the roasting area and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely deliveries.
- Continuously explore new roasting techniques and flavours.
- Adhere to all safety, health, and quality control standards.
- Prior experience as a Coffee Roaster is essential.
- Extensive knowledge of coffee beans, roasting techniques, and flavour profiles.
- Ability to roast coffee to desired specifications and consistently meet quality expectations.
- Strong sensory skills to evaluate and identify flavour profiles and defects in coffee.
- Understanding of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet production deadlines.
- Flexibility to work a 20-hour schedule (Monday-Friday).

- Consistent high-quality coffee products.
- Timely delivery of roasted coffee to clients.
- Regular monitoring and improvement of roasting processes.
