We are seeking a motivated and experienced mechanical engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of systems engineering, technical documentation disciplines, and experience working in operational and/or in-service support phases of major programs.
Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing mechanical system expertise, conducting risk assessments, and proposing solutions to ensure the VLF facility operates safely and efficiently. They will also be required to communicate effectively with the Raytheon Australia engineering team, project stakeholders, and mission partners.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent degree with power generation or mechanical systems industry experience.
  • Minimum of six years' experience in operational and/or in-service support phases of major programs, preferably in Defence technology and/or regional/remote power generation related industries.
  • Understanding of systems engineering, engineering support, maintenance support, and technical documentation disciplines.

Candidate must be eligible to obtain an Australian defence security clearance. Infrequent travel to Adelaide will be required to support engineering investigations as well as travel within Australia for business and development related training.
