About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Consultant to join our Business & Private Client Advisory team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for career growth, working closely with a partner to develop your skills and expertise.

• Prepare individual, company, trust, and partnership tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Manage Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements with precision, meeting deadlines and financial expectations.
• Process and manage Tax Office correspondence efficiently, minimizing delays and ensuring seamless communication.
• Prepare Fringe Benefit tax returns with meticulous attention to detail, adhering to legislative guidelines.
• Deliver complete financial accounts for all entities, providing stakeholders with timely and reliable information.
• Analyse and prepare standard management reports for clients, identifying areas for improvement and strategic recommendations.
• Provide valuable feedback, guidance, and support to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
• Create budgets and bills for services rendered, accurately reflecting revenue streams and expenses.
• Manage accounting for large investment portfolios with precision, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
• Ongoing duties may include additional responsibilities assigned by the firm.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• A minimum of 1-2 years' experience working in a Business Services environment.
• Experience working in a Chartered/CAPA accounting practice, with a deep understanding of industry standards.
• Degree qualification and commenced CA/CPA studies, demonstrating academic aptitude and professional dedication.
• Technical proficiency in relevant software, with a desire to continuously develop knowledge and skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with junior staff, offering guidance and support to enhance their capabilities.
• Strong time management skills, enabling prioritisation of tasks and efficient workflow.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, leveraging technology to streamline processes and improve productivity.
