Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Material Handler to join our team. This is a casual ongoing role with strong potential for permanent employment, offering a unique blend of computer-based inventory tasks, forklift operation, and manual handling.

The position involves a mix of responsibilities including:

  • Utilizing computer systems for inventory control and dispatch processing
  • Operating a forklift (reach forklift experience highly preferred)
  • Picking and packing products (boxes ranging from 8kg up to 20kg)
  • Using lifting aids for heavier loads as required
  • Plastic stretch wrapping pallets for outbound dispatch
  • Accurately weighing and preparing outbound goods
  • Working with FIFO and Kanban systems in the warehouse
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Valid forklift licence - reach forklift experience preferred
  • Previous warehouse experience including picking, packing, and dispatch
  • Comfortable lifting up to 20kg (equipment provided for assistance)
  • Experience with FIFO and Kanban systems
  • Solid computer skills for inventory and dispatch tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and safety focus
  • Full Australian working rights (citizen or permanent resident)
