Care Team Leader Role

As a care team leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of community care staff who provide direct care to clients. Your role is to ensure that staff have a good understanding of individual client needs and preferences, and can deliver services tailored to their requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the recruitment process for new care workers and ensure all necessary resources are available.
  • Mentor and support your team in delivering high-quality care services to clients.
  • Work in partnership with other managers to achieve service expectations and quality standards.
Requirements
  • A certificate IV in aged care or similar degree, with a minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience.
  • Knowledge of home care packages program, CHSP services, and aged care quality standards.
  • Performance coaching experience and management of a team in a multi-site environment.
  • A current driver's licence and safe driving record, with willingness to travel between sites and services.
