Speech Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Speech Therapist, you will provide evidence-based services to individuals through various service delivery models, including telehealth and community visits.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Speech Therapist to work with a range of clients, assessing and providing interventions for children and adults living with disabilities. You will work within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to maximize clients' level of function, capacity, and social engagement.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing and providing interventions for children and adults living with disabilities
  • Working within the NDIS to maximize clients' level of function, capacity, and social engagement
  • Assisting clients with assistive technology assessment, recommendations, and applications
  • Timely documentation and report writing
  • Managing a varied caseload
  • Meeting professional expectations
The New Graduate Program

We offer a comprehensive New Graduate Program to support recent graduates in acquiring the skills needed to launch their careers. This 12-month program includes weekly 1:1 supervision, core competency skills training sessions, fortnightly group mentoring sessions, mental health drop-in sessions, internal professional development sessions, shadowing opportunities, and access to senior clinicians within multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

To apply for this role, you will need to have or be able to obtain:

  • Tertiary qualifications in speech therapy
  • Professional registration with AHPRA/SPA
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC or Blue Card)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Police Check and International Police Check (if applicable)
  • Drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Car insurance
  • Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance
