Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced allied health professional to join our team as the Chief Allied Health Information Officer (CAHIO). This exciting opportunity involves providing clinical leadership and facilitating engagement of Allied Health clinicians in EMR workflows and digital health programs.
Main Responsibilities
- Optimize clinical workflows and implement strategic objectives to innovate and standardize practices and processes that support the allied health workforce.
- Work closely with Digital Health and Allied Health leadership groups to achieve these goals.
- Educate clinical teams on digital tools and resolve database design issues.
Requirements
- A relevant allied health degree and AHPRA registration or eligibility for relevant professional body membership.
- Postgraduate qualification (Master's or equivalent) in a clinical or relevant field.
- Project management qualification or training and strong understanding of EMR functionality for allied health workflows.
- Clinical informatics experience and proven ability to manage large, complex projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
