Job Description

As a Chief Security Strategist at Global Switch, you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust security strategies that align with the company's digital transformation goals. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the security of business information and customer data.

  • You will review and implement security frameworks, standards, and technologies to maintain a secure environment.
  • Manage project portfolios and ensure timely delivery of key initiatives while maintaining open communication with stakeholders.
  • Conduct continuous improvement actions to enhance service quality and promote a culture of security within the organization.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration between internal departments and external partners to enhance overall security efforts.
Key Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities as a Chief Security Strategist will include:

  • Developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
  • Leading risk assessments and vulnerability management activities.
  • Managing relationships with data centre sites and teams across Europe and APAC.
  • Communicating complex security issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong understanding of the latest developments in cybersecurity and experience in managing multi-budgets and maintaining actuals and forecasts.

Requirements

Some of the requirements for this position include:

  • A deep understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem from a technology and security perspective.
  • Relevant market qualifications for Information and Cyber Security and significant experience of ISO27001 standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
