Early Years Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Early Years Specialist to join our team at EACH Victoria. In this role, you will be working with families and children to provide early intervention and support services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver supports to families and children to help them achieve their goals using evidence-informed best practice.
- Use assessments, observations, and your understanding of child development to tailor support options that fit each child and family.
- Empower families, caregivers, and professionals to build skills and confidence to support children in their everyday lives.
- Connect children and families with their community to ensure they are included and can participate in the settings and activities they choose.
- Keep thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals in the NDIA business system.
- Guide families through the application, implementation, and funding processes of NDIS plans.
Requirements:
- A degree qualification in Early Childhood.
- Expert knowledge in child development and the ability to identify developmental issues.
- Proven track record supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles.
