Early Years Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Early Years Specialist to join our team at EACH Victoria. As a key member of our Allied Health team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality support services to families and children with developmental delays and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver evidence-informed best practice supports to families, empowering them to achieve their goals and build skills and confidence.
  • Use assessments, observations, and knowledge of child development to tailor support options that meet the unique needs of each child and family.
  • Connect children and families with their community, ensuring they are included and can participate in settings and activities they choose.
  • Keep thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals in the NDIA business system.
  • Guide families through the application, implementation, and funding processes of NDIS plans.
Requirements:
  • A degree qualification in Early Childhood.
  • Expert knowledge in child development and the ability to identify developmental issues.
  • Proven track record supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities, including the implementation of effective strategies for families to practice at home and other settings.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
