Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain cost estimates for offshore and onshore oil, gas, and petrochemical projects, as well as clean energy and civil infrastructure projects.
  • Apply the AACE cost estimating recommended practice and classification system, with a focus on Class 5, 4, and 3.
  • Utilize top-down and bottoms-up estimating methodologies to ensure accurate and reliable cost estimates.
  • Prepare invitations to tender and schedules of prices for construction contracts.
  • Develop schedules of rates and associated preambles for unit rate contracts.
  • Prepare bills of quantities, including detailed take-offs, for internal check estimates and bid evaluations.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their project requirements and provide cost estimates that meet their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in cost estimation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, engineering, or a related field.
  • RICS and/or AIQS qualification is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in estimating, cost engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent Microsoft software suite skills, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
