Job Title: Finance Analyst

Paramount Global is a leading media and entertainment company with a global presence. We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Analyst to join our team in Sydney.

Job Summary:

The Finance Analyst will support the Senior Finance Manager Ad Sales in all areas of revenue, including linear advertising, 10Play advertising, affiliates, and other revenue streams. The successful candidate will work closely with operational stakeholders and the wider Finance team to deliver high-quality financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present regular KPI and sales reports to stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain digital revenue models
  • External reporting to various digital partners and internal business managers
  • Month-end review, accruals, and journal preparation
  • Manage commercial integration project reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
  • External revenue reporting to IAB, PWC, and Think TV
Forecasting and Budgeting:
  • Monthly risks and opportunities process for Linear/Digital and monthly forecast reporting
  • Ownership and delivery of the annual budget process
Audit Queries:
  • Assist Senior Finance Manager Ad Sales and reporting team in any audit queries
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field
  • Studying for CIMA, CA, CPA highly regarded
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a broad range of Finance roles
  • Strong business English language skills both oral and written
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Experience in SAP and Longview an advantage
  • Experience in the Media and Entertainment industry would be great
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn
  • Ability to demonstrate ability to work independently and show ownership and accountability for assigned tasks to meet deadlines
  • A team player with a cooperative approach
