About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior FX Analyst to join our global team at Reuters FXBuzz service. This role involves covering the foreign exchange market for professional clients, generating original high-level ideas on currency direction, and contributing to intra-day updates in our live chat room.

Responsibilities

  • Cover major and select emerging markets currencies
  • Write short intra-day market updates in bulleted format with accompanying charts
  • Generate original analysis for well-argued forward-looking commentaries about market direction
  • Develop compelling charts to tell market stories
  • Build a strong network of market sources
  • Write longer-form analyses when requested

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have at least seven years of trading, strategy, or research experience in the FX market at a bank, broker, or financial institution. You will also possess strong communication skills, advanced technical and fundamental analysis skills, and the ability to write about complex financial topics in clear concise English.
