Customer Engagement Specialist

This role is designed for individuals with expertise in engaging and communicating with customers, taking genuine care in supporting their needs.

As a Customer Engagement Specialist, you will effectively build relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders alike, acting as a critical conduit between the front line and support teams.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Supporting Relationship Managers and their customer portfolios,
  • Deepening existing customer relationships through understanding our customers' needs and providing relevant solutions across all product suites,
  • Onboarding new customers, obtaining necessary information and documentation, completing application forms, and maintaining ongoing portfolio records,
  • Building strong relationships with customers via phone and email, as well as participating in customer visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively support Relationship Managers in delivering innovative, customer-centric solutions,
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to increase satisfaction and retention rates,
  • Provide expert advice on agribusiness lending and credit risk principles to ensure effective decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in agribusiness, finance, or a related discipline,
  • Experienced in or solid knowledge of agribusiness lending and credit risk principles,
  • Financial analysis skills, including the ability to analyze and interpret financial statements,
  • Up-to-date knowledge of agriculture market conditions, agribusiness products, cash flows, and markets would be beneficial.
