Environmental Officer

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the delivery of environmental services, focusing on sustainability, waste management, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver initiatives aimed at improving recycling rates, reducing waste, and promoting environmental conservation.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and educational programs for sustainable practices.
- Provide customer service support related to environmental services, addressing queries and concerns in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve customer service channels and processes.
Requirements:
- Proven knowledge of environmental management principles, including best practices in sustainability and waste reduction.
- Understanding of relevant State and Federal legislation governing environmental services.
- Ability to analyze complex issues, identify solutions, and communicate effectively to various audiences.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage customer expectations and provide tailored support.
- Capacity to prioritize tasks based on risk and priority level, ensuring efficient service delivery.
