Clinical Nurse Educator Position

This role is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives and advance your career as a Clinical Nurse Educator. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, facilitating, and evaluating learning activities in the Emergency Department and Short Stay Unit.

Job Description

The successful candidate will provide educational leadership and guidance to enable the development of knowledge and skill. They will work closely with the Learning Team and the Emergency Department/Short Stay Unit to ensure continuing professional development activities are aligned with the delivery of clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement learning activities that meet the needs of staff and learners
  • Provide educational leadership and guidance to support the development of knowledge and skill
  • Work collaboratively with the Learning Team and the Emergency Department/Short Stay Unit to achieve shared goals
Required Skills and Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Postgraduate qualifications in Emergency Nursing
  • APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Current clinical experience in paediatric nursing
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Excellent clinical, time management, organisational, and communication skills
