Leadership Opportunity in Nursing Education

The Faculty of Health at Deakin University is seeking a Senior Lecturer to lead the unit and course teaching teams within The School of Nursing and Midwifery.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop effective curricula and learning materials for unit and course teaching teams
  • Integrate industry, clinical, and research practice into unit/course design
  • Design collaborative learning opportunities and support diverse learners
  • Establish effective assessment tasks and rubrics
  • Contribute to securing funding for research and creative activities
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a registered nurse
  • PhD in a relevant discipline and/or other relevant qualifications and experience
  • Excellent record of scholarly learning and teaching in UG and/or PG programs
  • Demonstrated capacity and passion for leadership of teaching, research, and administration
