Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team and play a key role in payroll remediation activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for finalising and validating long service leave entitlements, supporting remediation activities, including correction of balances and back payment processing, and preparing reports, data, and recommendations for payroll and system managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the finalisation and validation of long service leave entitlements.
  • Support remediation activities, including correction of balances and back payment processing.
  • Prepare reports, data, and recommendations for payroll and system managers.
  • Contribute to payroll compliance initiatives and support Fair Work/Industrial Relations requirements.
  • Assist with process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in payroll operations.
  • Work within project frameworks (PMO) to ensure successful delivery of payroll transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate across HR and payroll projects to ensure end-to-end service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in payroll projects, ideally in remediation, compliance, or leave management.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, entitlements, and Australian legislation.
  • Experience working in project environments, including reporting and documentation.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work remotely while collaborating effectively with key stakeholders.
