Job Opportunity

The Tax Manager role is a critical position within our organization, responsible for leading tax compliance activities and driving the development of robust taxation procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage tax compliance and provide advice on all state and federal taxes, including income tax, transfer pricing, goods and services tax, fringe benefits tax, PAYG installments, payroll tax, employee share schemes, stamp duty, and withholding tax.
  • Promote tax risk management and corporate governance protocols over regional tax matters and establish internal processes for tax reporting purposes.
  • Communicate relevant tax changes and provide technical training for business units.
  • Identify scope for continuous improvement in gathering data and completing all existing state and federal administered taxes.
About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead the tax function of a high-performing multi-national. The role will have the ability to influence multiple departments and locations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Commerce (Accounting major preferred).
  • Professional qualifications (CA/CPA).
  • 7+ years broad Australian tax experience.
  • To be Melbourne-based with monthly travel within Australia required.
