About the Role

As a Graduate Conservation Policy Officer, you will have the opportunity to work across three biodiversity conservation teams: Strategic Environmental Policy, Priority Species Conservation, and Biodiversity Data and Mapping. You will learn about and contribute to the following work programs:

  • Conservation Projects: Deliver projects related to the conservation of priority species and their habitats.
  • Field Surveys: Conduct field surveys for priority flora and fauna species, including the koala.
  • Environmental Policy: Develop and implement environmental policy and projects related to the City's planning scheme.
  • Data Management: Manage and input data for the City's flora and fauna database.
  • Environmental Advice: Provide environmental advice for City infrastructure projects.
