About the Role:

The position of Patient Intake and Demand Unit Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate management of patient waitlist bookings for Sydney Dental Hospital and Oral Health Services. This involves effective coordination with high-level stakeholders, including hospital senior executives and clinicians, to provide subject matter expert advice and reporting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the ongoing management and coordination of departmental activities and initiatives, providing support and direction to administrative staff and other team members to facilitate the delivery of quality outcomes and Departmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply knowledge of Ministry of Health NSW Health Oral Access Policy and Waiting List Management policy to manage patient waitlists effectively.
  • Lead a team to achieve service goals and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Manage multiple projects, including program design, implementation, change management, and benefits realization to ensure high-quality deliverables.
