As a Business Solutions Specialist at Arc Infrastructure, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technology and business. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with various stakeholder groups to ensure that their business needs are clearly understood, documented, and translated into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.

Key duties include:

  • Facilitating workshops with business stakeholders, decision makers, product owners, delivery teams, and end users to elicit and document detailed functional and non-functional business requirements, use cases, process flows, and translating them into clear project requirements and other analysis artefacts.
  • Orchestrating the collaboration between business owners, business sponsors, SMEs, testers, and delivery groups by removing roadblocks and facilitating communication.
  • Understanding solution interdependencies and what impact new requirements will have on other dependent applications.
  • Data analysis and providing recommendations to aid management in making business decisions and to establish return on investment in some instances.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

  • A relevant degree in business, technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in a similar role with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • A proven track record of delivering complex technology and business solutions.
  • Proficiency in process mapping, as-is, and to-be.
  • The ability to robustly diagnose current state, identify improvement opportunities, and recommendations.
  • A strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage risks and resolve issues effectively.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • An understanding of Agile and hybrid methodologies.
  • Previous consulting experience would be advantageous.
  • IIBA Certification desirable but not essential.
