About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise Systems Manager to join our Digital, Data and Technology (DDT) team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the management of our core enterprise systems, ensuring they are stable, secure, and aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Management: Take ownership of Aveo's core enterprise platforms, ensuring they are stable, secure, and continually evolving to meet the needs of a growing organisation.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Monitor system performance, proactively troubleshoot issues and coordinate timely fixes and support with internal teams.
- Platform Enhancements: Apply technical expertise to design, implement and evolve enterprise platform enhancements with measurable impact.
- Change Management: Lead the configuration and change management lifecycle of key systems – ensuring every update supports business stability.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and product owners – particularly Finance, Operations and People & Risk - to deeply understand Aveo processes and future technology needs.
- Vendor Partnerships: Engage with platform vendors to ensure that strong partnerships exist between vendors and Aveo for current SLAs and future operations.
- Technical Debt Reduction: Identify and act on opportunities to reduce technical debt, enhance architecture, and deliver long-term value to the business.
- User Enablement: Share knowledge, uplift capability, and empower users through effective training, documentation and education.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Represent Aveo's Technology Team in cross-functional forums - contributing ideas, sharing insights, and influencing digital innovation.
About You:
- Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with cloud-based ERP platforms in a similar role (e.g Functional Lead, ERP Lead, Functional Consultant or similar)
- Education: A degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience, paired with a passion for delivering smart, scalable solutions.
- System Management Experience: Proven experience managing enterprise systems - ideally with exposure to TechnologyOne CIA, AP automation and HRIS Systems (e.g Chris21, Ceridian Dayforce, or similar)
- Process Improvement: Ability to drive process improvements and application enhancements that improve efficiency, data integrity, and user experience.
- Integration Expertise: Demonstrated experience in managing systems integration (e.g API, Azure Logic Apps or scripting etc.)
- Collaboration Skills: A collaborative approach to building relationships - with internal stakeholders across Finance, Operations and People & Risk, and with external vendors to support system performance.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to balance technical depth and business context.
- Values Alignment: A collaborative, service-first mindset aligned to Aveo's values — someone who is self-motivated, thrives on sharing knowledge, solving problems and learning new systems.
