As a Senior Manager Divestment and Transfers, you will play a key role in managing the functions of divesting and developing surplus land and transferring land to other State and local government agencies for open space, infrastructure, transport corridors, coastal lands and other State Government priorities, while maintaining sound fiscal outcomes.

You will assist the Director Strategy & Transaction in planning land divestments for open space, public, and environmental purposes, and manage the Land Bank Strategy and identify strategic land use opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Director in planning land divestments
  • Managing the Land Bank Strategy
  • Identifying strategic land use opportunities
  • Supporting financial, risk, and governance oversight
  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders
  • Leading staff performance, budget management, and governance within the team

Requirements for the role include:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in land divestments and acquisitions
  • Proven track record in managing complex property transactions
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Expertise in creating and executing strategic plans for asset divestment and management
  • Knowledge and experience working within or in collaboration with the NSW Government
