Risk Management Specialist


At a global crowdfunding platform, you will be instrumental in ensuring campaign integrity by identifying risk signals, conducting investigations and systematizing learnings into protocols. Your goal is to make the platform the most trusted for social justice movements.

This role involves detecting campaign risks, monitoring existing campaigns, reviewing complaints, providing customer support and continuously improving detection systems.
Responsibilities:
  1. Detect campaign risks: Conduct reviews of new fundraising campaigns to identify potential upcoming risks.
  2. Monitor existing fundraising campaigns for risk signals.
  3. Monitor donation pattern models to flag potential emergent risks.
We are looking for someone with solid experience (3-5+ years) in a fraud, risk, trust & safety or payments role who has strong analytical skills and a process-oriented mindset. Experience with customer due diligence, AML/CTF/KYC regulations is required. You should have high levels of empathy, integrity and professionalism when interacting with customers and team members.
