Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Mechanical Junior Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the TBM plant, you will be responsible for managing maintenance and modifications, ensuring smooth operations and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage scheduled maintenance, modifications, and demobilization of smoke duct gantries.
  • Develop and implement change-out regimes for high-risk components on scabbling and drill gantries.
  • Provide regular reports on scheduled and breakdown maintenance.
  • Offer engineering support for traversing lower plenty boxes by all 14 gantries.
  • Ensure verification of conformance for works under control (quality, safety, environment).
  • Lead temporary works design and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Support a positive work environment and promote good employee relations.
  • Collaborate with maintenance engineers, shift supervisors, and foremen to improve maintenance procedures and plant equipment.
  • Demonstrate people management skills by managing work and performance of teams and subcontractors to achieve project outcomes.
  • Provide onsite engineering services and technical support to ensure short-term planning and programming of works is completed in conjunction with site supervision staff.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years' experience in relevant discipline.
  • Masters or undergraduate degree in relevant discipline.
Skills Required
  • Quantitative and qualitative risk assessment and monitoring of risk controls and actions involved in delivery and implementation of projects.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer software packages; Microsoft Suite etc. is essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Attention to detail.
