About Store Managers:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Job Description
  • Directly leads the Store Support Lead and Customer Service Assistants.
  • Responsible for total store execution, including customer service, merchandising standards, operational procedures, operational controls, people development, and driving sales.
  • First priority is to contribute to the success of your store by delivering in your role as the Store Manager and modeling leadership behaviours.
  • Deliver results during your assigned time, drive key performance indicators, and brand loyalty by leading through your team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years retail management experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Creative thinking.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
  • Solid numeracy skills.

Other Requirements:

  • Frequently operate computer and printer, and occasionally operate cash register.
  • Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 10kg and places/removes merchandise up to a height of 1.5-3m.
  • Frequently ascend/descend ladders in order to retrieve and put away stock.
  • Frequently position self to kneel, bend and stoop, including in stock room and on the sales floor.
  • Must be able to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, staff schedules, and standard operating procedures.
  • Frequently communicate and exchange information with customers on the telephone and face-to-face in the store, as well as with staff.
  • Frequently move across the sales floor directing staff and assisting customers, to and from the back office and stock room retrieving and putting away merchandise.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time.
