Lead Risk Manager

We are seeking an experienced risk manager to lead our enterprise-wide risk management framework. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive risk strategy, building safer systems, and promoting a culture of proactive risk awareness.

About the Role

This is a pivotal leadership role that requires someone who thrives on responsibility, system thinking, and driving change. As a leader in risk management, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and evolve our Enterprise Risk Management framework
  • Support a culture of safety, accountability, and innovation
  • Guide staff on compliance, risk systems, and improvements
  • Oversee development of risk reduction strategies
  • Collaborate across teams to drive smarter decisions
Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing and enhancing the ERM and Business Continuity Framework
  • Providing expert advice on organisational risk and compliance
  • Leading development of risk strategies and governance documents
  • Promoting use of systems like RiskMan and Risk Register
  • Supporting audit functions and KPI achievement
  • Supervising and coaching staff in quality and improvement
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in risk management or related field
  • Proven experience in enterprise risk systems (e.g. RiskMan / VHIMS)
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and change management skills
  • Knowledge of ISO 31000 and healthcare regulations
  • Skill in stakeholder engagement and collaboration
