Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled systems professional to join our team and contribute to the development and delivery of systems strategy.

The successful candidate will work closely with a small team to achieve business objectives and organisational goals. Reporting to the Business Systems Lead, you will be based at our office in North Sydney.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL): backups, performance tuning, and optimisation
  • Design and support Azure Data Lake for data storage and integration
  • Write and maintain backend scripts using Python and shell scripting for automation or data tasks
  • Gather business and technical requirements from stakeholders
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for applications and databases
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and database issues

Requirements

  • Experience with ASP.NET and Classic ASP (VBScript)
  • Hands on experience with Azure Data Lake
  • Experience with Python and shell scripting (e.g. Bash)
  • Experience in requirement gathering and creating technical documentation
  • Strong skills in SQL Server and other relational databases
  • Familiar with Git and general development best practices
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills
  • Familiarity with Power BI and how reports or dashboards are used
  • Basic understanding of Power Automate and how it supports workflow automation
  • Exposure to MuleSoft, Power Apps, or Azure Functions
  • Certifications in Azure, Power Platform or database technologies
