We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in a key aviation maintenance support role. This exciting opportunity is part of our ongoing efforts to provide high-quality maintenance services for the Air Combat Electronic Attack (ACEA) Program at Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Base Amberley, Queensland.

As an Aviation Maintenance Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and other aerospace professionals with various maintenance activities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in all aircraft wash activities
  • Performing general tasks in support of the ACEA MRO Services team
  • Assisting Aircraft Maintenance Engineers in a range of maintenance activities

You will be working in a dynamic environment that requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Additionally, you must have effective problem-solving abilities and be able to work independently as well as part of a diverse team.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • A minimum of MEA20418 Certificate II in Aeroskills or equivalent qualification
  • Physical capacity to participate in aircraft wash activities, ability to work at heights and outdoors
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to WH&S and Quality Assurance
  • C class driver's licence
  • Desirable certifications and licences: forklift licence, high risk work licence
