About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Expert to join our team and contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies that drive value and efficiency in our supply chain.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and implementing category management strategies to strengthen and enhance the effectiveness of our supply chain.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and ensuring that these are seized to deliver the best market service and quality to our members.
  • Working closely with operational teams to ensure that member experience remains ahead of competitors.
  • Analyzing data to provide insights and identify trends or key drivers of cost and performance.
  • Conducting high-value, high-risk, and complex sourcing activities on behalf of our organization.
  • Assessing and mitigating category risks associated with procurement and supplier performance management.
  • Collaborating with suppliers and partners to deliver quality, sustainable, and innovative goods and services to our organization with an improved member experience.

About You:

  • A minimum of 7-10 years' experience in procurement and category management.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful category strategies.
  • Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent influencing, communication, and negotiation skills with a strong customer focus.
  • Experience working in regulated industries.
  • Solid understanding of commercial and risk management processes.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet tight timeframes.
