About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Sales Strategist to drive commercial growth and deliver business objectives. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying opportunities, developing and executing commercial strategies, and analyzing performance data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial Strategy Development
  • BUILD STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS WITH KEY CUSTOMERS TO DRIVE CATEGORY GROWTH
  • DEPLOY BRAND INITIATIVES THAT DELIVER THE OVERARCHING BRAND STRATEGY
  • E nsure DISTRIBUTION AND PRICING OBJECTIVES ARE ACHIEVED BY CHANNEL AND CUSTOMER TYPE TO DELIVER GROWTH STRATEGY

Account Management

  • Customer Engagement
  • DEVELOP AND EXECUTE JOINT CUSTOMER BUSINESS PLANS
  • PROMOTIONAL PLANNING, RANGING, SALES FORECASTS AND BUDGETS, PRICE INCREASES AND NEGOTIATIONS
  • MEASURE AND EVALUATE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ACTIVITIES AND PROCESSES TO IMPROVE PRODUCTIVITY

Requirements

  • Candidate Profile
  • AT LEAST 5-8 YEARS' EXPERIENCE IN A TOP FMCG TRADE ROLE (INCLUDING NATIONAL SALES MANAGEMENT & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE)
  • STRONG NEGOTIATION & ADVANCED PRESENTATION SKILLS
  • ABILITY TO INFLUENCE SENIOR STAKEHOLDERS
