The Role:

We are seeking a Site Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Mine Site in Burnie, Tasmania. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the site.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and clearing dining rooms
  • Dishwashing and cleaning of the kitchen, equipment & dining areas
  • Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
  • Assisting the broader team as required
  • Dining Room Duties - maintain cleanliness, stock and crib food levels
  • Housekeeping Duties - room and ensuite cleaning, making beds (if needed)
  • Common Area Cleaning - emptying bins, sweeping, mopping, general cleaning
  • Mine Site Cleaning - cleaning offices, crib huts, bathhouses

About You:

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, reliable, and has excellent communication skills. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, so you must be able to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
