Exhibition Curator Job Opportunity

This role is centered around the well-being and development of children and young people in Tasmania. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Exhibition Curator to conceptualize, research, plan, develop, and deliver a State exhibitions program that shares Tasmanian stories with the broader community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualize and develop an innovative and inclusive exhibitions program that showcases Tasmanian stories and culture.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to research and plan exhibitions that engage diverse audiences.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in curatorial and museum studies, education, library and information studies, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in exhibition curation, museum management, or related roles.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
