Strategic Procurement Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Procurement Expert to provide expert advice on procurement activities, ensuring effective acquisition of services and materials to meet project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic support to senior management in procurement planning and contract management for major projects.
  • Lead research and analysis to identify risks and develop innovative procurement strategies.
  • Manage contract managers to ensure successful implementation of contract management plans.
  • Maintain industry knowledge and trends to build relationships with stakeholders and improve productivity.
  • Develop and consult on stakeholder relationships, including internal clients, suppliers, and peer organizations.
  • Model TMR values and behaviors, promoting a positive team culture.
Project Opportunities:
  • The Wave (Rail) Project: A generational infrastructure project transforming travel for the Sunshine Coast region, creating a seamless public transport network.
  • Engineering and Technology Procurement: Providing technical expertise to support innovative design solutions and facilitate relationships between industry and TMR.
Requirements:
  • Two permanent positions available, one within the Wave (Rail) Project team and another in the Engineering and Technology Procurement team.
