About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Accounting Team Leader to join our team at West Recruitment Pty Ltd.

As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our general ledgers and associated reconciliations, as well as maintaining high-quality internal and external financial reporting for the group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and distribute the month-end Group Timetable
  • Lead a small team of qualified accountants
  • Group consolidation and reporting
  • Prepare statutory/external accounts
  • Management of group trial balances
  • Oversee and lead the team in Balance sheet reconciliation, P&L reporting, cashflow reporting
  • Assist in the annual budget and forecasting process
About You

The successful candidate for this role will be someone who looks beyond the reported numbers, has a curious mindset to analyse the data produced.

This role will have a high level of exposure to the Executive Leadership Team; therefore, experience managing senior stakeholders is preferred.

Experience in an ASX listed environment will be advantageous.

You will be CPA/CA qualified or working towards it.

You will have 5-7 years of experience in a similar technical accounting role.

You will have experience within a fast-paced environment.

You can demonstrate sound system skills, particularly with MS Excel, and have previous exposure to mid-tier ERP systems.

Interpersonally, you communicate in a professional and transparent style and present yourself in a corporate manner.

You will see yourself as a true business partner and thrive in a stakeholder-driven environment.
