Job Title: Department Supervisor

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced leader to fill the role of Department Supervisor in our Mermaid Waters supermarket. This position offers a unique opportunity for career growth and development within a fast-paced retail environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably within Meat, Produce, or Bakery departments. A customer-focused mindset and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this position.

  • Leading by Example: Deliver exceptional customer service and set a positive tone for your team members.
  • Team Development: Supervise, train, and mentor team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day department operations, including receiving stock, maintaining presentation standards, and ensuring shelves are fully stocked.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably within Meat, Produce, or Bakery departments.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and team development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
