Lead Finance Strategist

Join us in shaping the future of finance at a pioneering technology company. As our Financial Controller, you will oversee the entire financial function, driving strategy, operations, and performance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Leadership: Foster a high-performing finance team, providing development opportunities, direction, and support.
  • Financial Planning & Reporting: Develop and implement comprehensive financial calendars, including annual budgeting, forecasting, board reporting, and monthly management reports.
  • Financial Operations: Oversee core finance operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful financial results are delivered to the business.
  • Tax, Audit & Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory financial reporting and tax obligations, managing relationships with external auditors and financial partners.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and deliver improvements to financial processes, leveraging technology to simplify, streamline, and scale.
  • Strategic Finance Support: Partner with business leaders to support strategic planning, growth initiatives, and business case development.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in accounting, accompanied by a professional qualification such as a CA/CPA.
  • Prior experience in the Technology, Financial Services, or Fintech domain is highly regarded.
  • Experience working in similar financial leadership positions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for guiding and mentoring others.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and inform business decisions.
